Poems written in soil gathered from logged and threatened sites of this island home, lutruwita/ Tasmanian. Salt stains the boards and when the air is humid it turns liquidy- and in the heat a white crystal crust forms... these fragile rogue materials exhibit a lively temperance of their own, they wonder what the river will say when the city departs. They'll keep falling apart, gently decomposing notions of public art.

Materials
soil from logged and threatened forests, salt, bees wax, charcoal from the bushfires 2019, recycled plywood, ruber inner- tubes, glue, metallic flea beetles (Altica corrusca)
